The Sims 3: University Life is the ninth expansion pack for The Sims 3 a 2009 simulation game following The Sims 3: Seasons expansion. The game was rated T for Teen by the ESRB On December 29, 2012, confirming that it is official and has completed development. The Sims 3: University Life was officially announced in a live broadcast from The Sims developers on January 8, 2013. According to the trailer, the expansion pack will be released on March 5, 2013, the same release date as SimCity (2013).
University Life expansion pack includes Universities of all kinds. Hi, ive been installing and all that without problem but then it says that i need the disc and then i read how to copy the files in fairlight to the sims 3 bin but i cant find the “bin” in the sims 3 folders.. sounds silly but i am really new at working with the actual files :)

You need to go to My computer to find drive C: then continue clicking the folders up until you get to the BIN of the sims 3…

Thank you! But one more thing is that when I open the “Bin”-folder there is another “bin” folder inside it, should i paste the files to the last “bin” inside the “Bin”?
If you find an executable file (.exe) that’s what you going to change with the crack…
Hi, Ive installed university life and started playing it but yesterday the game crashed and kept loading forever, so i had to exit the game. Later it said that there was a new update so i tried to update it but it keeps failing saying that there is an incorrect file and shuts down. when I try to start the game without the update i cant load any of my sims or worlds and i cant exit without forcing it. Can i fix it with files or do i have to reinstall all of my games?

i can’t find the fairlight folder, where can i find it
I can’t find the crack files, where can i find it. I can only find a iso file and a system information file but not a cracked folder, what should i do? is there suppose to be another folder that i have missed?
You can find it by opening the .iso file
If you are planning to install multiple expansion pack make sure you have read the sims 3 fix (link available on the comments)
I have put the file in base game, but it said appcrash, i follow the fix instruction from your website but it doesn’t help.

What do you mean installed the files?
After installing the University Life you will need to copy the files on the fairlight folder (you will find it opening the .iso)
The files you will need to copy to your installation dir:
TS3W.exe
TSLHost.dll
If this doesn’t work we will be updating the sims 3 fix and hopefully it will work for you…

I have copied it, but it says that still can’t find the disk

Hi randy, even if you have original sims 3 you will still need to crack the game to make it work… what you can do is to backup your game so that you can restore it.

well I got it working and then it crashed before getting to the loading screen why can’t someone just make a tutorial video it’d really help

Sorry for the trouble… That would be a problem… If you have read some of my comments, you need to backup your game before you test some of the expansion packs mostly if you have purchased the game.
Anyway…
If you downloaded and installed your base game via Origin here’s what you can do:
Just copy the sims 3 ultimate fix in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\(Name of the Expansion or Base Game)\Game\Bin
Instead of C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\(Name of the Expansion or Base Game)\Game\Bin
