Age of Mythology (AOM), is a mythology-based, real-time strategy game published by Microsoft Game Studios and developed by Ensemble Studios. It was released in North America on October 30, 2002 and a week later in Europe.
A spin-off from the Age of Empires series, Age of Mythology takes inspiration from the myths and legends of the Greeks, Egyptians, and Norse, rather than from actual history. However, many gameplay elements are similar to the Age of Empires series. Campaign is the culmination of an Atlantean admiral, Arkantos, who is forced to travel through the lands of the game three cultures, hunting for a cyclops who is in league with Poseidon against Atlantis.
Age of Mythology was commercially successful, will platinum four months after its release after selling over one million units. Critical reception of the game was generally positive: it scored 89% on both Game Rankings and Metacritic.

i cannot install the age of mythology – unleash the wrath of the gods using my cd… the cd prompt me to register online but there was no so such thing when i tried to registered it via online… what shall i do?
Sorry we havent tested this game as you are doing. we have no clue on your situation so sorry…
Anyway here’s the install notes:
1. Install PowerISO . You will now have a virtual drive on your comp.
2. Mount these files: AOM_D1.iso, AOM_D2.iso, AOMX.iso
3. Install the game. During installation it will ask you for a cd-key. find CD-keys from the files included
4. Install AOM Update for Age Of Mythology and for Titans, update in game with internet connection.
Please find the cd keys in the files included. If you have problems with .VCD you can rename it to .iso
