   • Hi Him,

     Here’s the full guide from the updloader:
     – On the “Components” screen just select the type of Crack you want to apply!
     – Or, if you’re not sure yet, select “I will manually install crack later” option, then after installation read READMEs, located in the NoDVD folder.
     – Run Steam (not installed? What a retrograde! Download it on ttp://steampowered.com)
     – Logout from your main account (Steam menu, Change User)
     – Create new account, preferably sounding not like your current one, but with a working email
     – Login with new credentials, you can confirm your email later
     – Go to “Games” menu, select “Add Non-Steam game to my Library”
     – Click on “Browse…” & select “PATH WHERE YOU’VE INSTALLED THE GAME\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War Attila\Attilb.exe” – yes, Attilb.exe
     – Confirm you selection by clicking on “ADD SELECTED PROGRAMS”
     – Choose Attlib at the menu and press “PLAY”

4. It won’t start. Also, during finalization, there was this message that says:
   “requesting system authorization” and it keeps repeating that process and so I have to restart my computer. Does that affect the game in anyway?

     So sorry for our late reply… Have you tried running the game as administrator?

     Please make sure you have followed the provided guide carefully… Hope this helps…

5. I had that too, thought it was a virus. Super-fast repeating of that process so that almost nothing was possible anymore.

   How did you guys handled this issue?!

6. I tried running it and it crashed during startup. The reason is “appcrash”.
   I followed the instructions carefully. What should I do now? Can you help me?

   • Problems during installation?

     If you experience errors (Xdelta or Unarc ones) during installation, try the following things:

     * Re-hash torrent (in Utorrent point to the game entry, stop download/upload, then click right mouse button, then click “Force Re-check”)
     * Make sure you have at least as two times more virtual memory, than actual, physical RAM
     * Make sure you have enough space on target drive & on C: drive (or whatever system drive you have)
     * Try install the game NOT to C: (system) drive OR especially to C: drive (Windows rights system is a tricky thing)
     * Run setup with proper rights, as shown on this image:

     

7. I also tried installing the patch but it said that 887/887 files are missing.

8. GUYs,

   This is how I manage to make this work on my rig hope this helps some of you.

   1)Install game, On the “Components” screen select “I will manually install crack later” option
   2)After install go to the NoDVD \ DLC UNLOCKED folder
   3)Run the CPUID.Patch.bat file, you may need to press enter a few times. That creates a ATTILA.DLL file with the current timestamp
   4)Copy over all those crack files to the game directory
   5)Run Steam with a FAKE account
   6)Go to “Games” menu, select “Add Non-Steam game to my Library” and choose \Total War Attila\Attilb.exe” – yes, Attilb.exe
   7)Choose Attlib at the menu and press “PLAY” when selecting the exe from steam it doesn’t say exe it just says attilb it doesn’t look like a regular exe.
