Hey mike I have the same problem as you lately and I solved it! Try to let “ts4.exe” run through your firewall. It will refuse to work if its blocked from the internet.

I installed it correctly and put the crack into my Bin folder but its still asking for the activation code? Please help Admin.

This will not be an issue if you copied the crack to the correct DIR.
Here’s what you can try:
– Make sure you copy the all the files on the /CRACK dir inside the rld-thesims4.iso (right click to open) to your installation DIR, and replace when prompted.
– Make sure your antivirus didn’t delete it when you copy it to your installation DIR.
– Run the game as administrator.

I’ve done all this the three files inside the crack folder are now in my C:>The Sims 4>Game>Bin. My Avast is set to disabled and i’m on offline mode fore origin. Still the same thing. If you need a screenshot let me know.

When I run the sims 4 as administrator it automatically opens up origin instead of the actual game. I think it may be the crack. Here lies a screen shot.

Try to copy all the files inside the /crack folder again, you will have “rld.dll, RldOrigin.dll, RldOrgin,ini and TS4.exe” (open the rld-thesims4.iso) to your installation dir C:\Program Files>The Sims 4>Game>Bin (default).
Note: Dont forget to add the sims 4 game folder to the exclusion/exception list of your antivirus, otherwise your antivirus will change or delete the ‘TS4.exe’ which wont let the game to run.

If anyone got Initialization error just locate dir ..//The Sims 4\__Installer\vc\vc2013\redist then install 2 vcredist files. All problems will be gone on Windows 8 (64 bit).
I downloaded with from U torrent , installed it , now The sims 4 is on my desktop , but everytime i click on it, it opens origin. What did I do wrong?

Now I’m getting a pop up that says “initializing error at startup.”

Admin. I am getting the exact same thing. I have added it to my exceptions list. Installed that update by following the instructions to a T. I even turned my firewall off just to test it. I also changed the launcher name and the .par file name (it was suggested) but still nothing.
Try this detailed installation we have done in one of our comp:
1. Download game and extract it
2. Download update and crack
3. Copy everything in update folder and paste it in The Sims 4 folder
4. Copy everything in crack folder and paste it in The Sims 4 folder
5. Download Origin, create fake account, and keep it open
6. Start the game with The Sims 4/Game/Bin/The.Sims.4.Launcher.exe
Still doesn’t work then try the following:
1. Go to The Sims 4/_Installer/vc/vc2013/redist and install the one you need
2. Go to The Sims 4/_Installer/vp6 and install
3. Add all .dll files into AntiVirus exceptions
All people approaching error while launching the game, please try:
1. Update Microsoft .NET Framework
2. Update video drivers
3. Delete Origin, clean registry with program like CCleaner, reinstall Origin
Hey Asialee, I had the same problem, but what I all did was add sims 4 and origin to my anti-virus exception list, restarted my laptop and boom, it worked!

If you have some problem with the sims 4;
1. install mv c++ 2005 – 2013
2. Make sure you have enough ram n drive space in your pc to play the game
3. Make sure your system has all new update
4. Update your graphic driver.
install
1. Disable your Antivirus before you Install the sims 4. Install game follows the instruction.
2. Copy n paste update n crack to dir installation folder.
3. Install Origin. (If you have origin installed on your pc is old version, please, update your origin to new one).
4. Open your origin setting offline.
5. Disable your antivirus, add the sims 4 dir installation folder to exception in your antivirus.
6. Open the sims 4 (click shortcut on dekstop)
You have problem after installation;
1. asking activation key, or missing .par file, missing files…, no responding when you click shortcut, etc.
Problem solving:
a. Update your origin.
b. Install mv c++ 2005-2013
c. After you copy n paste update n crack to dir installation folder, make a shortcut from the crack, then send it to your dekstop.
d. Change .par file name. Example, the crack name is TheSims4Launcher, so you have to change your .par file to TheSims4Launcher.par
2. Unable to start:
