Hi, I already open the origin and make it go offline but when I open the sims4 even with run as admin, it cannot start and keep telling me the origin is not running. how can I solve this?

Just a tip for people still having problems getting the game to install and run properly: Install everything onto your C drive (or your computer’s main processor drive), including Origin! I know it seems weird for it to matter where it’s installed, but it does for some reason. For the longest time I was having to play with only the Get to Work expansion and no DLCs or game packs, because it would give me the typical ‘Origin needs to be open’ errors. I had everything installed on my D drive. After lots of troubleshooting I’ve now reinstalled everything onto my C drive, made exceptions for my file system shield with my antivirus software (mine is Avast), also allowed The Sims 4 through my firewall, and everything is working perfectly with no problems whatsoever! Keep in mind if you have previous saves that it would be smart to make a copy of your ‘Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves’ folder before you do any uninstalling/reinstalling and then moving it back into the original directory if you want to keep your saved games.

admin: you post the install guide… but the are people whos the first time installin a game… then the instructions are dificult to understand … when i installed the game ad open i found “setup.exe” and 5 bin files and “crack” folder… but when you say “. Update: just make sure you copy the crack to you game installation folder to make the game work. try to start the game with the file you replace to make sure it is working then if it doesn’t work with the launcher just make a shortcut for it…

Admin, I am having some issues with the game. I have gone back and read threw the comments to see if there was something that would help me and I have yet to see something that could help. I have followed all the directions with installing and placing the cracks. I even have origin on my pc. Yet every time I open the game even as administrator on the pc the game doesn’t even open. I have checked the task manager while I am trying to run the game but it shows it in the process just for a moment then it vanishes. Is there any adjustments I may need to make??
