   • Yes all games are compatible with the base game disk, since I did it the same way. And this might help you clear up the problem you are having with your launcher if you didn’t already read it over. Its something Alex had posted under the world adventures comments. I too also had the same issue with the game and now it works just fine. Here are the steps……

     1. Go to RUN.
     2. Type in regedit.
     3. it will come up so click it.
     4. Then go to HKEY LOCAL MACHINE.
     5. Go down to SOFTWARE and open it.
     6. Go down to Wow6432Node. Open it.
     7. Then find classes and open it and then find Sims( the file not the game) and open it.
     8. Then open The Sims 3 (not the game, the file!).
     9. You will see a file called SKU. Open it.
     10. Then type 7 in the Value Data space.

4. Hey guys, firstly thank you all who take the time to post help guidelines. I’ve downloaded this with utorrent, done the file copying and changed sku numbers, and still no go with getting the game to start. Any ideas as to what I’m doing wrong? Much appreciated, Pixie

     Is this the only expansion you have or not? if you have other expansion pack installed and it was more recent you can just use the cra/ck files instead of the sims 3 supernatural files… please let us know more about it… thank you…

5. Thank you for your speedy reply! This is the only expansion I have, my base game is from a disc, and in the time after I posted I unistalled both games and followed n00b helpers instructions exactly. Still, I get to play window and click play and it disappears. Thank you for your help :)

   • No problem Pixie, so you have the original sims 3 base game? if so you can try to place back the original exe file from the sims 3 original disk and try to copy the crack on the expansion pack game bin dir not on your base game… some users here make it work like that so hoping that you can make it work too… let us know if you still encounter problems…

6. Hey admin-man, yep original base game. I’m not certain on what you mean by … expansion pack game bin dir not on your base game… mainly the ‘dir’ haha. After much reading I thought maybe downloading the seasons expansion since it’s more updated could make it work, so did that, incl the cr’ack fix from alex, now I get black loading screen with mouse as a blue loading circle then a window saying ‘sims 3 has stopped working- a problem has cause the sims 3 to stop working. windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is found’… argh I’m about to smash my head onto the keyboard! At times like these I need a computer whiz as a boyfriend and not a juggler!!! Thanks for your help :)

   • Dir (short for directory or folder). what I mean is try to copy the crac’ks on your expansion pack installation folder somethin’ like this in your drive “C:/program files/electronicarts/the sims 3 supernatural/”

     This is what Jhanique sent me on our conversation:
     (she has the original base game)
     No problem, I actually figured it out, instead of overwriting my TS3 original game, I just copied all the cra/ck’s and put them in the EP folders and they all worked, well, all except for Island Paradise, I think that one would require me to overwrite the base game file which I don’t wanna do.

     But thanks again for all your help and all the wonderful games, keep up the good work.

     If you have an orig base game copy and replace the cra/ck files on your original game (base game) just copy it to their expansion pack (EP) install folders.

     Hope that this help you understand… just let us know if you still encounter any probs..

7. Hey man this looks like it will get me somewhere which is awesome, but maybe i haven’t gotten it right. So, on my original sims I keep the original ts3 and the other one. I have supernatural, so I put the cr’ack that came with it into the programfiles/ea/supernatural/game/bin and then for seasons I put the cr’ack that came with it and the cr’ack fix into its corresponding location too. Is that right? I can’t tell if Jhanique put the cr’ack files into ALL of the folders. I hope it didn’t just wash over my head and I’m asking really stupidness.

   • Try to uninstall all the expansion and test your sims 3 base game if it is still working… Make sure you replace the original ts3.exe and remove the crack/files.

   • Woo ok my base game wasn’t working either, I musta screwed something up there, anyway so have I got the jist of what to do after its installed correctly? On my comment there regarding Jhaniques remedy. Cheers man!

   • Hello! I have good news and bad news. The good news is that now the game actually loads! The bad news is is that after it has loaded it says game disk not found. Let me know if you know where I should go from here. Thank you!!

   • Have you tested the base game before you install the expansion, is it working as it is (original = enter your original serial to play)?

   • Yep it is, er was. But now I’ve installed the expansions and attempted to cr’ack them so now it loads but on main game screen where you choose neighborhood says the insert cd into drive thing. :'(

   • Have you replace the original sims 3.exe that you have replaced with the crack?

   • Yep I had copied the originals onto desktop before I overwrote them, so I just pasted them back in. Thanks for your help man beers on me!

10. Hi, I just installed the expancion but then when I clicked to open Fairlight files I get a notice telling me that I can not open because the file is not compatible … I do not know what to do. : (

    • Hi Antonella,
      Welcome to our site….
      If you already installed the expansion pack all you need to do is open the iso file (disk image) and then find the Fairlight folded inside it. Copy all the files and the replace it to your sims 3 installation dir…

      Note: before doing anything (copying) make sure you backup the files you are going to replace… Just to make sure… and when somethings wrong happen you can just replace the backup and still working game… (this is really important mostly if you have bought the base game)

      Please read comments for more info on how to make the expansion work…

11. Sorry to be a pain but I can not seem to get it working with me.
    I have the cark file copy over but when I try to play it lets me in until it gets to the slatens you what to do then it says you do not have the dices for this expance.

    I try to read what you have to do but found it quite covusing.

    Can you Help me please. Sorry about my spilling.

    • Have you tried the “The sims 3 cra’ck fix“? download it and read the instructions. This is really helpful mostly if you installed lots of EP (expansion packs). hope this helps…

13. its not letting me open the fairlight folder it says the system cant open it it might be corrupted , help please,

      Have you installed the expansion already?
      Make sure you have downloaded the files correctly (completely).
      You can use poweriso or deamontools to open the iso file and find the fairlight folder.
      or
      You can try to extract it using winrar
