Hi, I just finish installing the expansion and copied the fairlight. When I try to open the game, the icon will show and suddenly disappear. The game did not run. I’m playing on macbook pro 2011 mountain lion. I have been playing sims 3 without any expansion for quite a while now. How can I solve this problem? thank you

Have you installed the sims 3 season first before this expansion pack??
If thats the case try to recopy the sims 3 seasons Cra’ck to the game installation folder…

Hi matt is this the only expansion pack you downloaded and installed for you game? if not please make sure you have copied the most latest cra’ck you have. for ex. if you installed this and supernatural make sure you only use the supernatural cra’ck even if you installed supernatural first make sure you recopy the supernatural cra’ck to the game/bin…

The game has finished downloading on uTorrent. I have scrolled through so many comments trying to figure out the next step. Is there any video or even a numbered (typed) walkthrough that I could follow? This is getting pretty stressful, especially after the time I put into just waiting for uTorrent to load.

it is really confusing to play sims3 because of its expansion packs problems you will need to be patient and read all info here to make it work. I am really trying to make this easy for all of you guys, but sometimes its really hard to explain. Just read carefully and I am sure you will make it work just like others who have downloaded all the sims 3 here on our site.
Just remember to backup your game, mostly if you have a legit version.
So i have it downloaded and installed but when i go to play non of the towns show up and non of the buttons seem to work :p how do I fix this? would I have to download another expansion pack or what?
P.s. I already moved the Fairlight contents over

Eric, I also only have the base game, all my expansion packs are cracked. (And from this website) It’s really simple:
1. Get Winrar
2. When you set up winrar, make sure you select all the file types its says it can support. (Emphasis on the .iso one!)
3. Now download Sims 3 Pets.
4. When done, the icon should be a pile of books, this indicates it is open-able by winrar. Double click and pull out the file labeled ‘Crack’. (Put it on your desktop or whatever.)
5. Now open your daemon tools and drag the file (not the crack, the actual game file) into the program and mount. It should install normally. (Check online for a serial for Pets)
6. Now put the contents of the Crack file you pulled out into your /Program Files/Electronic Arts/Sims 3/Bin. Accept any overwrite prompts that come up.
The file path for you may be a little different since I’m using XP, but you get the gist. Rinse and repeat for any other expansions you want to install. Hope this helped you! :)
Whenever I click on the download link for Sims 3 Pets i go through adf.ly. Then i get taken to FreePcGamesDen Vane… I am a little bit skeptical do i open the download link there? Sorry, got my computer back fresh and dont want to have to do something with it again.

I downloaded the torrent thing (it says its setup ODM) and I also downloaded another download manager that popped up when I clicked download the game (setup OSU). When I was finally able to get to the right screen, it says I don’t have a correct app to open the file. It says its a magnet file and is asking me to download an app from the Windows Store, but my store won’t open to let me do it >.< help!!!!! Please!!!!!!!!!!

I’m really confused. I’m having the problem Eric had where none of the towns come up and the buttons don’t work. I already have winrar but there’s no Crack folder in this download and I don’t need daemon because my iso files already mount. How can I fix this? Do I really need the Crack? Or can I just play it without using the Fairlight files?
