I have read all the comments and found nothing that can solve my issue. Before I copy and paste the Expansion Pack crack into, C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin, I see another folder named, “bin,”(notice the lowercase “b”) that contains all other folders named of different countries (ja-JP, ko-KR). I am a little confused in where to exactly put the crack in? Do I place the crack in “Bin” or do I place the crack in the folder, “bin.” And do I only place the contents inside the crack folder, or the crack folder itself? Thank you.

Hint: put only the crack files (not the whole folder) in the bin where you can find the same files.
If you have a purchased sims 3 make sure you backup the files you change.

Okay so I know where to put the crack but why isn’t the ”the sims 3 seasons” crack the same files as i have in the sims 3 base folder? I get an error when I replace them… I got a 64bit system and it says that it needs 32 or something?

Hello, I’ve installed the expansion packs as I was supposed to. ( I had some problems but I solved it reading the comments ) but now, when I finally got rid of all the windows popping up, saying “no disc” and so on, when I try to open the game it looks like it’ll start as it’s supposed to, but then I get a message saying the game has encountered a problem and must be shut down. What should I do? I copied the necessary files to where they are supposed to go, and everything looks fine. But it just won’t work! Please help?
@Zeyru, it is really complicated to make the sims 3 and its expansion work but if you did it right it will work… have you tried the sims 3 fix? you can go to that page here

So, it downloaded on uTorrent but how can I play it? It says seeding but it doesn’t have the play file option.

If it seeding that means you have completed downloading…
You will need to find the folder you have downloaded the game and install… (right click the torrent and click open containing folder)

There are different types of installation on every expansion pack so it is wise if you comment on the page/EP you have problems with to avoid confusion.
Anyway to answer your question:
If you have a .RAR file you will need to use WinRar or 7zip software to unrar a rar’d file.
Similar to zipping and unzipping a file but just uses a different compression.

I’d like to install ALL the expansion packs and all of the stuff packs. I was wondering if it matters in which order I install them. If yes, then please explain it to me. After downloading the latest expansion pack (which I have already installed, cracked and it works) should I start downloading from the oldest to the newest?
And what about the stuff packs, do I need to crack them too or just install them the same way as i installed the expansions?

hey, im having problem from the first step. i have downloaded the link named the sims 3 -razor final maxspeed… use utorrentand i also downloaded the link The Sims 3 Update / Ultimate Fix- Installation Guide Updated and it placed in download/user/user and i right click and pick Extract Here option. so heres the prob..
the first step u mention ” open the “Base Game” folder in this .rar file and drag & drop both files in there to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin and choose “Replace” on the pop-up that appears, telling you the files already exis ”
i open C:\Program Files (x86) and i cant find /Electronic arts, except ea games that contain my old sims 2.
so how should i do ? please tell me from scratch .

Have you installed the sims 3 base game already? I think you haven’t…
The Sims 3 Update / Ultimate Fix is used if you want Updated sims 3 and/or you will install some or all the expansion and stuff packs…

If you plan to install the expansion packs the best way is to download them all first and install it accordingly… because in that method you will just crack the sims 3 once… (if you use the sims 3 fix read the installation guide.txt)…
Note: installation is really confusing so you must read installation guide very carefully…

We haven’t tested this on The Sims 3 steam version so we do not have any idea on how to make the expansion packs work for your version… so sorry…
So i bought The Sims 3 game disc, and also have it through origin. I downloaded the Late Night expansion pack, and extracted the files. I then went on to “crack” it, so i copy and pasted the files into the bin folder, and replaced it when the window popped up. After that i went onto the launcher. When i click the Late Night launcher nothing happens, and when i click my original Sims 3 launcher it says i need to enter the game disk.
How do i fix this? or how can i unistall this, alli want is my sims back! please help.
