Spec Ops: The line is a third-person shooter game published by 2K Games and developed by Yager Development. The Spec Ops: The line was released for Microsoft Windows in North America, platforms like Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on June 26, 2012 and on June 29, 2012 in Europe. Not officially announced at the Spike Video Game Awards on December 12, 2009. Although the series “Spec Ops”, Spec Ops: The line does not get any details of the history of the previous titles.
The game follows Captain Martin Walker (voiced by Nolan North), as has been sent to a post-disaster of Dubai with an elite team of Delta Force to hunt for a decorated officer named Colonel Konrad (voiced by Bruce Boxleitner), and removal and any survivors. While lead author Walt Williams said there are many influences that have gone into the plot, the case is inspired by the novel Heart of Darkness Joseph Conrad. Many critics have noted similarities to positive Apocalypse Now in the game and feel the way that there is no glory in war.
