Portal 2 is a first person puzzle-platform game developed and published by Valve Corporation. It is the sequel to Portal (2007) and was released on April 19, 2011 for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Commercial versions of the game are distributed by Electronic Arts, while the digital distribution versions for Windows and OS X is in charge of the valve content delivery service, Steam. Portal 2 was announced on March 5, 2010, after an alternate reality game one week on the basis of the new patches for the original game. The release of the sequel of steam was preceded by several weeks a second alternate reality game, the sack of potatoes for 13 independently developed titles, culminating in a parody of distributed computing to launch Portal 2 for several hours before.
Like its predecessor, Portal 2 includes mainly a series of puzzles to be solved by teleporting the player’s character and simple objects using the “portal gun”, a device that can create portals interspace between two planes. The game physics engine modified allows the momentum to be maintained through these portals, to be used creatively to meet the challenges of the game. In addition to keeping most elements of the original Portal game, the sequel added new features, including tractor beams, laser redirection, light bridges, and gels such as painting surfaces that give special properties (for example, the acceleration of the player’s speed, allowing them to jump higher). These gels were created by the team of the Independent Games Festival-winning DigiPen student project Tag: The Power of painting.

@yui, Hello and welcome! Sorry to hear about that…
Here’s what you can try:
Run the game in administrator…
Run in compatibility mode (we only have tested this on Win7 so if your using Win8 need to run the game in Win7 using compatibility mode)
Update your drivers…

Make sure you copied every files on the SKIDROW folder to your installation DIR Computer>LocalDisc(c:)>ProgramFilesx86>Valve>Portal2.
