Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath is an action-adventure video game developed by Oddworld Inhabitants and published by Electronic Arts. It was first released on January 25, 2005 for xbox and was released as Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD for PC and PlayStation 3. The HD version of the game was released on December 21, 2011 in Europe and Australia, and on December 27, 2011 in North America for the PlayStation Network, and includes improved graphics 720p, more detailed character models, re-mastered dialogue, 37 trophies, bonus material and support for PlayStation Move peripheral repaired later with support 3D.

hello, I just need help fixing an issue. I installed the game successfully, but when I try to launch it, it gives me an error window saying, “The application has failed to start because it’s side-by-side configuration is incorrect” How do I resolve this issue and start playing the game? Any assistance is greatly appreciated! Usually it’s a quick fix and you guys help me resolve it easily. Thanks in advance.

I actually did some of my own research on the issue just yesterday I think, and that’s what I tried to do… It still gives me the same error message though. Any other suggestions that might help?

Have you tried running the game as administrator?
