Master of Orion: Conquer the Stars is a free download game from us and a reboot of the award-winning and critically acclaimed Master of Orion a sci-fi strategy video game first released in 1993. Being developed by Argentine-based NGD Studios and reimagined by Wargaming, the game is built around the 4X (Explore, Expand, Exploit and Exterminate) turn-based model. The game was released on Steam Early Access on February 26, 2016, with a full release planned on Microsoft Windows, OS X and Linux later in 2016.

I tried to run the “patch_master_of_orion_2.5.0.11.exe” to update the MOO (2016) that I downloaded from here back in March, however, I received this error msg from GOG Patcher dialog box: Update 2.5.0.11 – This patch does not suport your version of the game, please download a new installer. Can you check this to see if it is the correct update for this version of MOO (2016)?

Sorry but you made another mistake, the link for the posted update (ver.2.4.0.10) does not point to the actual correct file, that is needed for the patch which I mentioned earlier. The Master of Orion:Conquer the Stars update that was posted (2.4.0.10) has a broken link. It incorrectly points to a different file (Master.of.Orion.Conquer.the.Stars.Patch.2.5.0.11-GOG). Please investigate, looks like my posts are being cancelled because of an earlier issue regarding the same game. I’m trying to complete the instructions that was given to me but I can’t due to the wrong file. Thanks Admin.
