Half-Life 2 (HL2) is a first-person shooter game, the sequel to Half-Life and a signature title in the series Half-Life. Developed by Valve Corporation, originally released on November 16, 2004, after a protracted five-year, $ 40 million development cycle, during which a substantial part of the project was leaked and distributed on the Internet. Half-Life 2 was developed in parallel with the software of Steam Valve. It introduced the game engine and source, because steam is the first video game to require online product activation.

Hey admin, i installed the game with the instal half-life 2 application in the folder, the game will launch past the valve symbol and then crash at the loading screen.
Zackattack, Have you tried running the game as admin? or try to change the compatibility mode (OS as Windows XP)of the exe. you can read F.A.Qs for more info…
How to install:
Run the .exe in Administrator
