From Dust is a god game, sandbox strategy video game, designed by Eric Chahi and developed by Ubisoft Montpellier. From Dust was published by Ubisoft on Xbox 360, 27 July 2011 as part of XBLA Summer of Arcade event. The PC version was originally scheduled to be released at the same time but was delayed until August 17 for reasons not disclosed. A PlayStation 3 version was released on the PlayStation Network in September 2011. On March 7, 2012, Ubisoft announced that the game will be available as a browser game for Google Chrome. From Dust is distributed online via Steam, OnLive, GamersGate, XBLA, PSN , and the Chrome Web Store.

INSTALL NOTES:
Mount or burn image (From Dust for PC)
Install the game
Copy/extract and replace everything from the included rar file (From Dust Offline Fix Repack) into the main installation folder of the game
Start game from the From_Dust.exe
Play the game
Support the companies, which software you actually enjoy!
When I follow all those, I get an error saying Ubisoft game launcher has stopped working and I have to exit it?

This is what I’ve done:
1) Install the game
2)Copy files in the Skidrow folder and replace the files in the From Dust folder with them.
3)Run From_Dust.exe
4) Get an error saying UbisoftGameLauncher.exe has stopped working
5) Cry myself to sleep… and wait for help =(

Have you tried this?
1) Make sure you are logged out of Uplay first
2) Make a backup your Ubisoft Game Launcher folder (Program Files/Ubisoft)
3) Install game, DONT APPLY CRACK YET
4) If a desktop shortcut was made, delete it
5) Run the game from install directory, this will update some shit
6) When asked to login with name and password, just close that box
7) Copy everything from Crack Fix folder to game installation directory
8) Now open the orbit folder and copy all files to your Ubisoft Game launcher folder
9) Create desktop shortcut to From_Dust.exe and run game from desktop
– You need to put the full orbit folder into your From Dust installation directory
– You also need all CONTENTS of the orbit folder inside your Ubisoft Game Launcher folder

do not run the game using the shortcut that the installation have made run the game on the install dir (the exe that you have replaced). So sorry for the trouble Mike…
I done everything mentioned on here and all it does is go to the Ubisoft Uplay hub and demands the product key. I’ve tried each suggestion at least twice now.
Have you copied the everything from Crack Fix folder to game installation directory? Try to launch the game on the installation dir (not in the desktop).
Yes done that and it still demands the product key, according to the files I checked one of the cracked files had an obsolete product key as well. Tried again today and it still just won’t work follow each instruction to the letter and it still wants a product key or it won’t let me play.

Guide:
1. Fresh Installation of Ubisoft Launcher and From Dust
2. Update game and Ubisoft Launcher
3. Close the launcher
4. Get the crack
5. Copy UbisoftGameLauncher.exe into the “Ubisoft Launcher folder” and overwrite the old one.
6. Start the game via the From_Dust.exe.
7. Create an account and login. When it asks for a key, put in a random number and press play
8. PLAY!!!
Note: Don’t replace the UbisoftGameLauncher.exe in the From Dust directory
Cracks made before 2013 won’t get past the new DRM procedures that were enforced at the start of the year and update every month. It still didn’t worked, claimed a file was missing this time. I think I’ll just buy it from Microsoft, they may be useless and over-price everything but at least it works and will work instantly without having to fiddle with it all day. Thanks for trying to help but obviously these cracks aren’t getting past the new security these companies are using as the cracks are out of date.
this is working. I dont know what you have done but i downloaded the game and test it with the From Dust Free Download and From Dust Offline Fix Repack and followed what alex commented. just tested the offline I dont know if it works online if it doesnt you will really need to buy the game. but I confirm that this is working offline mode.
This is what I did:
Installed the game using sr-fdust.iso mounted on POwerISO.
After installation Clicked the From_Dust.exe inside the C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\From Dust
Auto update will trigger and wait for it until its done.
When asked to login with name and password, just close that box
Extracted sr-fdustfx.rar in the same folder
Copied the files From_Dust.exe,skidrow.dll,ubiorbitapi_r2.dll, and ubiorbitapi_r2_loader.dll to C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\From Dust
Opened orbit folder (from Extracted sr-fdustfx.rar) and copied all its contents to C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher
gone to the install directory C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\From Dust and double clicked From_Dust.exe and played the game
This didnt ask me for a key or anything. just added profile and play.
