Fallout (Video Game) is a series of role playing games originally published by Interplay Entertainment, but now published by Bethesda Softworks. Although the series is set during the 22nd century 23rd, retrofuturistic setting and artwork are influenced by the culture of postwar America of 1950, and the combination of hope for the promises of technology and lurking fear of nuclear annihilation.
