Darksiders II is an action-adventure role-playing game published by THQ and developed by Vigil Games. Darksiders II is the sequel to Darksiders and it was released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows on August 2012.
Darksiders II takes place in parallel with the previous game. In the prologue, it is revealed that the four horsemen (war, conflict, mania, and death) is the last of the Nephilim, mergers of angels and demons who conducted a bloody war for the rest of creation. In order to maintain the balance of the Universe, Four, who were tired of the Conquest, was incredible powers by the Council charred in exchange for slaughtering the rest of the Nephilim.
