Rayman Origins is developed and published by Ubisoft. It is a platform game for PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation Vita, the Nintendo 3DS and Microsoft Windows PC. The game was released in North America on November 15, 2011, in Australia on November 24, 2011 and in Europe on November 25, 2011 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii. Rayman Origins was later released for the PlayStation Vita, Microsoft Windows and Nintendo 3DS.
The story of Rayman Origins follows Rayman, Globox and two friend teensies as they struggle Darktoons and other evil creatures that have infected the Glade of Dreams. A sequel, Rayman Legends, is currently underway.
